My turn to mod a BK16

I really, really like how this is turning out. I don't usually like swedges......... but for some reason.... I really like this one!

Great job Hawkhead!

Thanks Warrior and Dex. The swedge design can be a make or break item on a blade due to the angles, curves and straight lines that need to meet at a precise point as well as work with the overall geometric shape of the blade. I also think the swedge design would aid in penetration. I waited awhile to incorporate the swedge after staring at the blade shape for two weeks.

That it superb work, the swedge really sets the blade off, it looks like it is meant to be there.

Indeed,i m a big fan of the swedge...did it on my izula ( not as well as hawkhead) and have to say it change the whole blade look.will for sure do it on my 14 when mod time come, pretty much right after i get this 24....:)

Good work and GREAT photos. I appreciate the attention to detail you have on all your projects...

That looks so nice, and I agree with Eero - you take the best photos.
I wouldn't mind a swedge on my modded 11, but I know I couldn't pull it off that cleanly so I have held off.
Great, great work.

Thanks fellow Becker enthusiasts for the comments. I draw the design modifications over and over to usually get what I want. Then I work slowly and make the mods to the steel.

I was not happy with the blade shape and decided to trim the outline that looked and felt better.
