My version of a Rambo knife

Well, this is as far as I got before my Grizzly died, it's okay as I was planning a break from knifemaking after this one anyway:

(I've never heard of a Grizzly breaking down, but I guess I'll be in the market for another KMG in a year or so). Need to start saving now. Sorry guys, didn't get it finished. :(

By the way, 5160 is easy to grind, using a Norton 36 grit Blaze belt removes metal really fast.

There's always some good files to chunk away at it with! Or you could find someone to finish the grind for ya'!!!

Sorry to hear that Flatgrinder.

How old is the grinder? I've had a Grizzly for going on 6 yrs now. Although I use the Bader for just about everything, the Griz has seen alot of hollow grinding and contouring. It doesn't seem like it's overly complicated to look inside. Also noticed the on/off is the crappiest part on the whole machine.

Best of luck to you for an easy fix.
