My VERY belated 500th Post Giveaway

Well I'm not gonna ask you to show me yours and not show you mine. But don't worry I won't count myself as an entry;) These pics pretty bad cuz my camera sucks ass but you can see it all pretty well. I can't believe how small my collection is after selling all my 'cheap' stuff and a few good ones that I didn't have a use for. So now I'm down to only about 25 knives and some axes after selling about 80, but they were mostly Frost cutlery and crap from BUDk:rolleyes: so it didn't quite matter to part with them.

That's good cuz I'm getting a bit tired of all these Beckers:eek:-I know, blasphemy but I'm wondering if I shouldn't have just put this in the general knife forum so people would show me ALL kinds of knives. I can't believe no one has whipped out a Busse or Chris Reeve yet(and I don't just mean a sebbie). I might have to knock it down to a 2 prize contest cuz I haven't even seen 4 worth a prize yet;) I was thinking I was gonna see some Siegles and Gossmans, and Fiddlebacks and stuff based on how popular those are around these parts but to my surprise not a one. I know its a lot of work to pull out the whole collection and do a photo shoot, but I did it and so can you. That's why its a contest, you have to put a little effort into it not just take a pic of what you play with everyday. I might be forced to change the criteria to whoever has the coolest and best variety in their collection...I bet that would get you off your butts:D

Thanks for having the contest!!

I'm gonna post to give me a reason to break all my knifes (I know spelt rong) and take a pic of them. I don't have any recent pix of them and I've got a few more since the last pic I took. Cool contest bro.

Haha. Nah, my dad modded a machete, for whatever the intended use was. He did that a lot to his knives. As you can see, whatever it was, he used it quite often.
 
Here are most of mine. Randall, Busse, Swamprat, Scrapyard, Todd Hunt, Becker, KaBar. Buck, Case, Gerber, Benchmade, Schrade, SAK, Camillus, and Imperial.

Yes it is. It is one of the blanks that Silver got. I finally got mine finished at the gathering by 1066vic. It's a Cam blank so it's crazy thick and it's the same steel as the LEBK10s are :D :thumbup:

Is it ok to post up a solo pic of that knife?
 
Hey is that knife above the axe and hawk made by Coast or something??? It looks exactly like this $15 knife I bought at Dunhams(sporting goods) a couple years ago that turned out to be razor sharp and that fat rubbery handle was actually really comfortable-if it's the same knife.

Yeah that is a coast knife. It was my first "real" or big fixed blade. I like it a lot, but I need to fix the handle. The tang keeps coming out. :(
