My very small (and VERY silly) collection

That Collins machete is no slouch. Many people still look for that brand. They are hard to find. Nice piece!

I love that three-bladed thing. I can't imagine how to use it but that adds to the allure.

Welcome to the forums. :D

Welcome to the forums Jub!
Hey your start off isn't so bad, I've seen worse.
I used to have a big collection of cheapo knives.
A lot of spring assisted, and others that were really kind of pointless.
I had a tri-blade knife. It was black and had dragons.
I carried and used my cheapo rainbow knife, sheffield knife, and some other weird folder the most.
Yes, I actually used them.

I learned how to sharpen and everything with them. Loved them. Then I had my first Kershaw, it was history from then lol.

I would not suggest going straight to a Sebenza. Give yourself some time, check out some other awesome blades, there's tons of brands with great knives. So why ruin the hunt and finding everything you really like, by going straight for a Sebenza?

Welcome!!!

Thanks for all your comments and the warm welcome guys! I think its pretty hilarious how much love the tripple bladed thing is getting. I've never seen or heard of Krull, I'll have to check it out. Keep in mind that I got it at a comic con, so it may very well be a knock off of whatever was in the movie. I remember even back then the main reason I got it was just because its so crazy. And no I never wore it around lol its big enough that it would take up your whole pocket, or you would have to clip it on the outside, which seems like it might be frowned upon haha. As far as mounting it on a drill goes...O_o talk about yolo. The first one sits on the tv, the middle two I dug out for the first time in a long time to take those pics and the machete lives under my bed. So the dagger is a decoration for sure, but the machete is a machete. Its cool to know that its got value beyond sentimental, not that it matters cause I'm never going to sell it either way, but still cool. Thanks for all the advice on sharpening, I have access to some files (the ones my dad used actually) so I'll have to take a look in the sharpening section and give it a go. My head is still spinning from the shear size of this forum! Also I believe I'm about to pull the trigger on a BM 943! Still doing a little bit of mulling over though.

I think it's because everyone who has ever seen the movie Krull has had fantasies of where they flung something like that into a scary monster, dropped them like a log, then sticks hand out after fixing perfectly coiffed hair, and the killing machine magically pops back into your hand. Lol.

Yes. ;) I'll remember that knife long after I've forgotten Krull. If Krull wasn't mentioned occasionally around here I would have already forgot.

Hey Jup, try not to take in too much of our collective "knowledge" too quickly. Many of us are insane... ;)

(I'm not joking.)
