I use my Vex quite often as a kitchen knife just to get some good use out of it. It slices the S out of meat and veggies and anything else. I washed it last night and placed it in the drain board. This evening it was stained and had surface rust all over it. I couldn't believe it. I hit it with a scotch brite pad to remove the rust and then smeared it with a thin coat of mineral oil before putting it away. I couldn't believe how quickly SR101 begins to rust!!!
