My Waki Sheath

Finally I got to finish my first sheath for the Waki..

I had Wookie do the forming on the liners, and he did an excellent job on them.
Kydex is 0.093”, and the pouch is stiff halftanned leather. This will serve as a platform for all kinds of attachement options. It could have loops for back carry, dangler carry, baldric style, etc, yet to be made J

wow!
fantastic job. looks really great.
how much are you going to be selling the sheaths for?

BEAUTIFUL WORK!!

Don't you think an exoskeleton kydex structure will serve the sheath purpose better?

Kydex is harder and stronger than leather but scratches satin blade from time to time.
Would it be nice to put leather inside to protect the blade surface?

Yes.. Kydex with a leather liner will work fine..
It could even be made in a way that the sheath could be opened up for cleaning and waxing the leather.. That's the nice thing about having a custom sheath made.. You get to call the shots :)

I've seen that sheath before!!Thats right i have one.Martin's sheaths are totally funtional "Dress" Pants for any knife.Every sheath i have of his I use.Got the Waki sheath before Thankgivin to give to my son,,he loved it,He loves the fact it can be worned on his back or hip.I loved it so much I ordered another one for my Waki and something a for my FFBM.

I have to say your design suits Waki better than my suggestion.

Unless you have satin or DC blade surface, direct leather contact probably is not a good idea.

By the way, will it be OK to extend the sheath (both kydex & leather) further down the handle to the second hole?
