Thought i'd share a story after a bit of a long day. One of my parrots some how managaged to cut the inside of his thigh during the night. He made it through the night so off to the vet we went in the morning. This is a 3+ hour drive to the closest avian vet that could see him today. I stopped along the way for gas and after coming back from paying he managaed to shove his head through the bars and was stuck and panicing real bad. Bar spacing is very important when keeping parrots and this was the only size cage I could fit into the Jeep so I thought it'd be fine.
Anyhow, I pulled out my Wave and cut through the thick wire in two places to free his head. We made the rest of the trip fine and he now has cream that should heal his leg up. He's happy we are back home. I damaged the pliers on the wave cutting the thick cage bars, worst case I would have had the file's to start work on it getting through the bars. Happy ending to a story that could have been real sad if I hadnt had my LM on me.
