My way to carry Knife.

I hate when that happens

Me too. Can't tell you how many times it has happened to me.

No good if someone comes up behind you, slips it out and stabs you.

really? so whats the best way to carry a knife so this doesn't happen?

P.S. a knife can hurt if you fall on it regardless of how it's positioned.... falling is dangerous buisness.

I don't know if it's the absolute best, but my favorite is to carry handle down on my strong side hip. Adjust the height as low as you can easily draw the knife and then think about the position someone else would have to get into to take your knife- very awkward for them, very easy for you. I've even been able to draw and resheath without the other party knowing

A long time ago, in a gakaxy far far away....

I wonder if a bunch of Jedi and Sith had similar forum discussions.

I'm a fan of scout carry. I don't usually carry a blade that big there, but I prefer it to most other ways. I think you get more torso mobility that way. I like to still be able to kick people in the face if I need to, and if I have a sheath or blade flapping along my leg, it just feels off ;)

Looks like a good way to conceal a blade but I would be concerned about falling on that and getting hurt...

I guess one problem I see is that it would probably draw a lot of attention. Idk if that bothers you or not, but I like my knives to fly under the radar.

When I carry a blade of that size, I mount it on a dresser drawer rail and strap it to my arm for surprise quick-draw action. Scares the hell out of the cat when I have to open the mail in a hurry.
