My Week

Just spent a week in the mountains with my girlfriend's family. Did some hiking at Grandfather Mountain and Mt. Mitchell, the highest point east of the Mississippi.

The last part of the hike at Grandfather was really steep and rocky.

My tools, minus the fixed blade, which was either a Benchmade or my RAT Cutlery Izula Prototype.

The Mt. Mitchell trail is a great hike. Cool tower at the top too.

The highest peak east of the Mississippi is only 6,000ft and change? I thought they got a little higher than that. Guess you learn something new everyday.

Nice views, looks like a fun hike.
