Well GD, that is kind of you. But it's all her. I'm just a donkeyhole with a VERY understanding and loving woman.

Anyway...this 970 dagger is da bomb! The only thing is that I don't know if Buck thought anyone would be using it. To me, that is evident with the sheath. Took it for a ride over the weekend and it is separating. The sheath is not sewn all the way around and the glue is pulling apart.

Tried to see if my 105 or little Ka-Bar sheath worked with the 970...they don't. So, I will see about taking the sheath it came with to a leather dude and having it sewn all the way up.


But the knife itself is great. Very comfortable in the mitt. Cut chow with it just fine.
I like my Buck bling :)

buck-bling= showing off yer bucks wareing them
will have to add that to the dict-son-nary jest above
buck-envy= wanting a buck like some one elses and
buck-shy= afarde to take your buck knives to a buck show..
humm any one else got a new buck word for the dict of buck terms? :confused::p

That top knife is my trusty ol' little Ka-Bar. I put it in the pic for scale as I referenced it when posting about using it's sheath for the 970.

The little Ka-Bar is really a knice knife. :thumbup:
Being all black, now I usually wear it only to formal black tie affairs or funerals.

Goose, very late, but hope that was a "Happy Birthday." Yep, that WBC 970 is defintely a keeper as is the lovely wife!!
