So, being the holiday season and all, my lovely wife asked me to look over recent family photos and decide which ones I wanted to include in our Christmas card. Being a festive and creative kinda guy, I put together this group pic that I thought looked nice-

She was less than enthusiastic. She called me an idiot. Well, not in words, but she gave me the "you're an idiot" look. I know that look. So I offered to reselect.

This was also apparently not what she had in mind. She mentioned something about our two children, and scaring their teachers, blah, blah, blah. So I guess we'll go with the summer vacation pics, but I have to admit, my feelings were a bit hurt. I'll get over it, but what ever happened to "Tis the season" and holly and mistletoe? Jeesh, sometime's she's such a grinch.

Seriously, what's not to like? Unfortunately I have to keep my Becker family as a kind of "secret" family so my real family (aka: my wife) doesn't misinterpret and get jealous. She doesn't understand, either. I mean, do I look like a knife wielding maniac?

I think you look like a perfectly normal gentleman. Perhaps even "kindly". If that face doesn't say "i wish you a joyous holiday!" I don't know what would. I'll show her your pic and tell you you support my family choices. I'm sure she'll change her mind. :D

Scaring the teachers can be good...think of the awesome grades they'll provide out of fear! :D
Your kids will get full scholarships into ivy league schools, and end up so rich that you'll retire in style with the money they give you in appreciation. ;)

I say go with the knife group shot. :thumbup:
 
No, I see what the problem is. That fruit looks pretty unappetizing...all plastic and fuzzy. Just swap in some fresh real fruit and she will see the Christmas magic.
