My wife is such a grinch...

CB:

I may have a solution that lets you get all of your loved ones in the Christmas photo. Wouldn't a photo of everyone in front of the Christmas tree be a nice pix? Just decorate the tree with these... Noone will notice the ornaments in the photo...

Lawyerly disclaimer: Does not mix well with small children or cats (especially when they are as shiny as Granite's....)

No, I see what the problem is. That fruit looks pretty unappetizing...all plastic and fuzzy. Just swap in some fresh real fruit and she will see the Christmas magic.

I asked my wife if she would find my fruit more attractive if it were smooth skinned or fuzzy. She gave me the "you're an idiot" look again.

My 4 year old son would love that. My 7 year old daughter and my 8 year old dog would be terrified, knowing how much my 4 year old son would love that.

I think you look like a perfectly normal gentleman. Perhaps even "kindly". If that face doesn't say "i wish you a joyous holiday!" I don't know what would. I'll show her your pic and tell you you support my family choices. I'm sure she'll change her mind. :D

I know that I need some fiber when I see that in the morning mirror. :D

So, your wife is a grinch, right? Mine ordered me a BK-5 (which is awesome, don't get me wrong) but it was delivered yesterday and she won't let me even PEEK at it until Christmas! That's 2 weeks of knowing it's in the house but I can't even fondle it! I may have to order one for myself so I can play with it before Christmas! Maybe I can get one delivered to the office!

I don't do Christmas...my fiance does (contrary to what she told me the night we met).
I do have a Christmas spirit, though; and this year he means business.

Beckered up, for this forum...
(I tried to give him the BK16, but he kept throwing it to the ground - insisting that he wanted, and deserved, the 12. Since I took away his beloved Traumahawk, I figured it was a reasonable compromise.)

yup. Real fruits, some green stuff like fresh cut branches, maybe an elf juggling the knives?

small knives have been part of my tree's ornaments for several years now. Maybe the fact that I'm single allows me to get away with it :D

Your Christmas spirit has meathooks the size of the Warriors hands. No wonder the 16 kept getting rejected.
