I'm thinkin' of startin' a Bali collection, I was lookin' at the CS Arch Angel:

I have 2 cheapies :o but I've always wanted a quality Butterfly Knife, I'll have to get back to work though before I start another collection, or else I'll be sellin' off my current collections to pay the Internet bill.
 
Tell her to get her own hobby!

Better yet, get her to collect knives too, that way you'll have lots more knives :)
 
What your wife is really trying to say isn't that you have too many knives: rather, that she has too fews pairs of shoes, too little jewelry ... something. And you'd better figure it out quick, 'cuz you know she ain't gonna tell you straight out what it is, either.

About time, man--you gotta come visit us in the balisong forum, T. :D I'd recommend getting the BM42 (or 4x) before getting an Arc Angel (or probably a Typhoon for that matter).

Either way I agree with Icon. Nice pic--great looking collection.
 
I would wager that almost all of our wives/gf's think the same thing as yours, I know mine does.

You folks in the Bali Forum scare me, I believe the technical term is Baliflipaknifearoundboundtagetcutobia.

But hey, I didn't listen when my dad told me not stick my head out the window of passing subway cars either, so one more collection till I start on flashlights, boy my wife must really love me, or I'm that good. :o

BTW...I'm going to show MY wife the picture of all those knives, so MAYBE she won't think that I have too many knives.:D.

There are some larger accumulations of knives out there, I've seen 'em, some of you guys should show the boxes full of mint knives, especialy the Slipjoint Collectors, they've been around and tradin' since the beginning.

glockman99, watch it don't backfire when you show her, she might have thought that was a small collection so now you'll be limited.
 
I've got a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy with my wife on these matters. To counter that I don't ever question anything that she ever does. It took several years for the concept to catch on, but I think that she's there. It's a great mutual trust kinda thing. Pretty sure, though, that she knows that I'm up to shenanigans.

EXACTLY what I was thinking :) This pic just may get me a couple more customs before year's end.
 
my wife always have the same thinking although i got less than ten knives.
