I completed my mission today to re do my woods working knives. The big chopper heavy use was easy. Anything big and tough will do the job so that one came first, actually two. SCHF37 and SCHF26 went at it for a long time but the 37 won out. It's too tough and larger, the 26 will be given to my oldest, he likes it a lot.

Today I got my belt general use knife at 0812 this morning and have been working it over all day. I got a OKC Falcon and it's a real good knife. Cost more than the 37 and 26 combined but is worth every penny. The handle fits like it was made for my medium hands. The steel held up great all day, just touched it up and it really didn't need it.

I don't see much mention of the Falcon around here, if anyone has questions go ahead and ask, I beat it pretty good today. Did everything perfectly, couldn't be more happy. It carries easy and does work. The steel is strong and the edge held.

Here it is new next to the well used large companion that lives on the pack now.

And here it is after a full days of use.

The powder coat finish is 10x better than the much more affordable Schrade and held up well, still wore it to metal in places though.
