My Yuna is finally finished!! Pics!

Beautiful knife, bet it cost a small fortune. Handle shape vaguely reminds me of an old Delta Z Darrel Ralph Osprey. Colors as well. It's what I thought of as soon as I saw your pics. Mines never even been used.

The knife finally arrived today. It's absolutely stunning. I can't put it down, just keep fondling it. Came very sharp and it flips very well. No wrist action required. Lock up seems a little early, but it doesn't bother me. Over all I'm very pleased With the knife. I'm not going to use it hard, but I'm definitely going to carry it and use it.

Can u post a pick of the lock up, that's always fun to check out on framelock and maybe the grind, That thing in gorgeous.

Not my cup of tea, but I certainly can tell that it is one fantastic piece of knife art! The handles are amazing and the Damascus is vertigo inducing. Well worth the wait I imagine.

WOW. That's an awesome piece of work.

I love the way the grinds and pattern go together and make the blade look soft, organic and alive! I'm completely blown away, and normally I don't even like knives like this because they just seem jumbled and overdone. This knife however has some serious appeal.

Im not a fancy knife guy but I gotta admit that is just beautiful.

I would be afraid to carry it

Congratulations. Yun makes great knives. That build looks fantastic. Enjoy!

I own one Yuna and have one coming! Beautiful knives but if I can pick one thing that I dont like is his screws for his standoffs just stick out the back? Kind of leaves like an unfinished look. Is there something he could put there to make it flush maybe or?? Just seein those threads stickin out makes it seem like something shud be there! My 2 cents. Colog you ll most likely hate this knife so PM me and I will take one for the team and take it off your hands for ya! Id try one of those new Camillus knives maybe!:D

Cbxer55 you just bombed this dudes post with those awful pics man! I would think in respect for Colog and his new grail get rid of those pics man!! That doesnt belong here!!

You're right that is weird. I honestly didn't even notice that until you pointed those out. It almost looks unfinished. From a artistic standpoint, sometimes that can be a good choice to achieve a certain look but it doesn't work on this piece. You can even see the threads and the screws all seem to stick out a different amount. I would love to hear what the maker has to say about this.

I have been on Yun's list for about a year and a half, and I change my mind every month.
But I will most likely stick with M390 as opposed to Dama.
Cant stand not knowing when it's my turn, but im not gonna bug the nice fella.

I really don't mind the screws sticking out. I figure its just part of a Yuna knife. Striderco, thank you for graciously offering to take this off my hands. Think ill hold onto it though. Thanks for all the great comments guys. Question is, where do I go from here as a collector? I'm stumped.

Huntbomb, i felt your pain. I expected this to be done last November. Then suddenly one day Yun emails me saying it will be done in 7 days. Got it a month later.

You better have your order ready to go when Yun comes a callin! He s not the most patient fella!

He may not be the most patient guy in the world. But he doesn't have t be. Looking at the past Yuna sales on one particular knife store web site, the prices for his knives on the secondary market have just about doubled recently.
