Well I got into a bit of a jam today, and my ZT 0400 was absolutely no help at all! It's amazing how quickly nine inches of clay mud can turn twelve thousand pounds of truck and trailer into "screw you, I'm not moving"!

Maybe I should have been packing an 0500.... :p

Somehow I don't think that would have helped. Mud tires, on the other hand....

:D

Uh-huh!!!
Because it's AMERICAN..............even though technically the Toyota Tundra is more American than the F150, and the F150 is made in Mexico (I think it's Mexico)
:D :p

What were you hauling anyway?

The F150 is made right in Detroit (Dearborn actually) at the new River Rouge Assembly plant. I've toured that plant and recommend it if you're in the neighborhood. It's also assembled at the Kansas City plant. 75% domestic part content.

The Tundra has 75% domestic parts content also, assembled entirely in San Antonio, TX.

Lol yeah if you wanted the truck to be broke down as well as buried in the mud

Oh, no you didn't!!!
At least we didn't take money from the Gov't

I guess I'm thinking of some other Ford vehicle

Ford didn't take money because they had taken massive loans out right before the bailout program was offered. The interest on those loans by itself almost put them under. They found themselves in a much tighter spot than the companies that took it and in true ford fashion continue to let this financial tight spot show in the quality and reliability of their vehicles :p
