  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My ZT was useless!

Ford didn't take money because they had taken massive loans out right before the bailout program was offered. The interest on those loans by itself almost put them under. They found themselves in a much tighter spot than the companies that took it and in true ford fashion continue to let this financial tight spot show in the quality and reliability of their vehicles :p

Oh, yes. And my moms grand caravan is filled with quality. Like the DVD player that doesn't work, or the catalytic converter that had to be replaced, or the door motor, that has become senile. :D :p
I still hate GM for killing Pontiac, so I refuse to buy from them.

So how did you get it out, I see a shovel??? Looks like your on a farm wasn't there a tractor that could pull you out?

Could you air down the tires enough to get out and then reinflate or is that not possible with the trailer? Or do you not keep an air compressor or air on board?

Tires make all the difference in the world! I'd rather have a 2 wheel drive with aggressive tires than a 4 wd with poopy all seasons any day of the week!

A good pair of all terrains help a lot.

They used to be decent all terrains, but they've worn down to all season levels and are about useless off road. Not looking forward to plunking down $8-1000 on another set.

You know you have a problem when the first thing you do or think of is to hop out to take a photo to show everyone on the knife forum. Is that mentality a man thing? :)

My 4Runner (4th Gen Soccer Mom version) has a center diff lock. My 3rd Gen had a diff lock as well and was great in the mud with BFG TA KOs. The 4th gen with stock Michelin all terrains is good on the interstate in the Oregon rain but not so great 'wheelin. I keep a 12v air compressor in the car in case of slow leak flats or needing to air down for traction.

My friend called and wanted to know if I wanted to hang out, so I sent him that pic. Didn't think of putting it online until I got back home :p

The truck has a rear locker, but there was just no traction in that clay mud, and with the trailer on and the back tires being in the lowest point, it just wasn't happening.

My 2nd gen 4Runner with a rear locker and 33" BFG MTs couldn't get stuck anywhere I took it, loved that thing!
