Pitched washers for a couple of hours. Figure I made a hundred trips between holes.

Got home from work earlier than usual/expected....35 mile ride before Sunday.

11.5+12=23.5 BP

Big day. 64 miles and change on the bike. Came home and mowed the lawn...with our 20% grade hills...I'm kinda spanked.

21.3+23.5=44.8 BP TTD.

My brother and I rode the entire way together. Average of 16.8 mph, did the ride (including using the bathroom at one rest stop) in just about 4 hrs. Had the 24 in my jersey the whole time.

Glad you made it all the way through. I think I would've passed on the lawn afterward...

I was out camping this weekend. 15 was fine on squash and potatoes but I forgot to touch up the edge after removing some corrosion a couple months ago. Just dented the tomato. Luckily the modified 11 was there for those. 5 did great splitting firewood and carving the tri-tip.

Walked about 4 miles yesterday, and swam 1/2 on in the river.
Walked 5 miles today.

29.5 + 4 + 2 + 5 = 40.5 BPs so far for June.

Went to the amusement park, walked to dinner, and still took my evening walk today. 9 miles walked!

Made up for it today.
20 mile bike ride: 12 mi road, 8 mi mountain.
First 13 or so went great. The last bit I had one fiber one bar and ran out of water (hole in the knockoff-camelback bladder.)
Velocity decreased precipitously. Hills grew exponentially.

.8 miles walk home after taking the car over to the tire place and another .8 this morning to go and pick it up......after a 33 mile bike ride.

1.6 + 11 + 44.8 = 57.4 BP to date.

Last one for the month. Gonna have to call this one 31.5 - stopped into my favorite German kaffe place and had an Iced "toffee lover's" and a sausage, egg and cheese on an asiago bagel before remounting and riding the last 1.5 - that would have made it 33. Was going pretty s l o w that last bit.

Yeah.....an animal. An animal of prodigious bulk with a permanent spare tire and a talent for pushing myself a little more than might be prudent - on a bicycle. Average heart rate was 156 today, maxed out at 185 chasing some motorcyclists through a 20 mph hairpin. 185? Stupid for a guy my age. Thought my heart was gonna hammer it's way out of my chest for a few seconds. Though it was pretty gratifying to see the guy's face in his rearview (I was right next to him) as he realized he couldn't do that corner any faster than me.
