MYB - May 2015 Becker Move Your Butt Thread

Finally rode again today. Then mowed the lawn, which made me sweatier than the 36 mile ride (we have hills to mow)!

9+37.5=46.5

Gotta start trying to do something daily.....twice a week riding the bike (even given the distance) is not taking off any poundage.

Rode yesterday....cut short by a flat tire that I knew was coming....and a pump that exploded when I tried to fix the flat. Luckily, caught a ride home from another cyclist who stopped to check on me. Was about to get out my phone and make a few calls....

28 miles. 7+46.5=53.5 BP ttd.
 
2 mile (whooppeee) ride on Saturday = .5 BP.
1 mile walk Sunday for 1;
2 mile walk last night for 2 more.

29.5 + .5 + 1 + 2 = 33 BPs TTD.
 
2 mile walk.
40 BPs for May - but 50 will be really tough at this point.

Just go for a long run tonight ;).

Saturday ride: 36 mi.
Monday: 38 mi
Today: 34 mi. and I am pasted. I never ride 2 days in a row 'cause I need the recovery time. Too nice out not to, tho.

9+9.5+8.5+53.5=80.5

36 miles this morning. Saw a garter snake in the road but didn't stop to take a pic as I was trying to stay ahead of the rain....I did not succeed. The last half was raining on and off with temperature swings of 20°. Interesting weather.

9+80.5=89.5 BP total for this month.

I was hoping to go for a swim Sunday afternoon, then get in a walk in the evening. Alas, it was not to be.
I did walk 3.5 miles tonight, but that's for next month's thread - if anyone gets around to starting it.
 
Thanks, Tom! Alas, it's raining today (my one day to ride during the week), my youngest is home sick and I don't know when I'm going to be able to ride again....which kinda blows because I'd like to maintain a little fitness for my TourdeCure ride in a week and a half...

Maybe I'll get to the pool sometime this week.
