well last night i did had a brialiant idea to do a mycarta knife sheath. i first wraped my knife in plastic wrap and then wraped black canves around the blade and soaked in super glue. i just tryed to remove the blade from the sheath and it would not move, i finley got it out by pulling super hard. now i just need to get the plastic wrap out from inside the case. its just a blade cover so it does not have a place for a belt. after the first wrap of canves i put a small hardrive magnet so as to keep the blade in the case. it works very well but i should have used epoxy insted of super glue. ill post some pictures when its done.

here are the pictures, its not done all the way yet.

let me know what you think

nice ive been looking into this subjest and that is a great way to make an easy sheath

thanks

i did 2 layers then put the magnet then i put on 2 more layers. it is very hard ans strong. i think an epoxy might be better to use though. it seames like even after all day the glue inside is still drying and leaving the white deposits on my blade. but i must say it is so nice you just put the blade in and the sheath snaps on from the magnet and you pust it on the rest of the way, it very secure and i dont even think it would come out if you had it around you neck and you went joging. i like it because i can now keep the knife in my pocket because the knife is so small and just pull of the case when i need it .
