mystery san mai

A freshly finished one.
It has a damascus san mai blade, I forged it manually of 5160, L6 and 1.2516. Has around 120 layers
The handle is made of mystery wood, a bit of stabilized and bronze.
Leather sheath and fire steel included!
The total length is 26 cm / 10.2 inch and the blade is 14 cm long / 5.6 inch long.

Could be. I bought it a few years ago and forgot to note what it is, and the "botanical expert" that I am, I have no chance of finding out, so I have no idea.

Have you tried to taste it.... I've heard that spalted walnut taste a lot like Oak, but with a more delicate woodsy top note!

Well now... I must say, that I do have my fair share of kinky stuff, but licking wood isn't one of them.
