A freshly finished one.
It has a damascus san mai blade, I forged it manually of 5160, L6 and 1.2516. Has around 120 layers
The handle is made of mystery wood, a bit of stabilized and bronze.
Leather sheath and fire steel included!
The total length is 26 cm / 10.2 inch and the blade is 14 cm long / 5.6 inch long.

Another beauty my friend! That wood looks a like spalted walnut, but that's just my opinion, and I could be wrong! :cool:

Could be. I bought it a few years ago and forgot to note what it is, and the "botanical expert" that I am, I have no chance of finding out, so I have no idea. 😅
 
Whatever else you have there, you have a fine looking knife and a cool as could be sheath and fire steel toter. Well done, amigo. If the wood type mystery needs an answer, ask a beaver.
