N.e. Khukuri Konvention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May 18th or 19th we are going to have a NorthEast Khukuri Konvention here at my house!!! I've got a big gas grill, large deck and yard and some woods for chopping! All the blue spruce branches you ever wanted to chop We'll cook lots of meat, consume beverages, try not to cut ourselves too bad, and whatever else we think of. Throwing knives, tomahawks, stars? This is a family event just like the Catoosa Konvention. Kids and wives welcome--mine will be here(well just wife #1, the others are busy)

So any forumites interested can email me for details and directions/ lodging and other things to do while you're up this way (there's lots of cool little towns along the Maine coast, with lots of shopping for the ladies if you need a lure).

So far there's 3 forumites coming (me included). Let's make this a good one!!!! I'll take a ton of pics and post them later on that week too!

Great!! good luck Don't forget my house is only 40min from LL Bean's and Freeport's other shopping outlets. 1 1/4 hrs from Kittery Trading Post(guns! guns! guns!) and MANY other shopping outlets down there. 20min from Portland's old Port shopping area(great restaurants and bars).

I don't drink anymore but I highly encourage guests to do so!! I have to drink vicariously through you so be prepared I'll keep duct tape, super glue, a bucket of ice, and needle and thread handy in case anyone chops off something they just can't live without! Just teazin I plan on it being a safe and fun time

I'm the third guy so far, as I'll be in Portland that weekend for the Maine Fiber and Fabric Festival. Well, actually my wife will be there for that and I'll be tagging along. Then I realized that MauiRob lived nearby and I wrote asking about a get-together. I'll bring the few khuks that I have, along with some other nice non-khuk knives from my collection. Looking forward to a great time.

I'll do that I'll have to appoint someone to hassle me constantly to take lots of pics, when I'm not working (taking Pics) I don't often think of it.

If anyone owns a digital video camera (or a digital camera!!!) that's coming bring it along! Maybe we could figure out how to post some video of chopping!HEE
