Hey guys,
I'm offering this hunting knife up for sale tonight. The blade is Bohlers N690 stainless, which I have been impressed with. It's been likened to VG10 by Chuck at Alpha Knife Supply. The handle material is some really tight curl Ringed Gidgee (some of the best I've seen) with green canvas micarta bolsters. The grind is full flat down to 0.015" and then convex down to near zero. The finish is cork belt satin. It's been heat treated by Peter's to RC60.
Specs:
OAL: 9.5"
BLADE: 4.5" long, 1.875" wide, full flat grind, cork belt satin finish.
STEEL: 0.13" N690, heat treated by Peter's to RC60
HANDLE: Australian Ringed Gidgee and green canvas micarta bolsters. Micarta pins and liners.
SHEATH: Hand made leather. (I'll post pic of it tomorrow)
