I've got this Nessmuck up for sale today. It's N690 steel from AKS. N690 is similar to VG-10 chemically according to the AKS website. I have found it to be a very good stainless steel. The handle is green canvas micarta with Arizona Desert Ironwood Burl bolsters. The sheath is handmade stacked leather. I've taken the edge down to 0.009" before sharpening so it should be all a very nice slicer.
Specs:
OAL: 8.5"
Blade: 3.5" long, 1.5" wide, Full flat grind, 600 grit cork belt satin finish, 0.009" thickness before sharpening.
Steel: 0.135" N690 from Alpha Knife Supply, heat treated by Peter's to RC60
Handle: Green Micarta with Arizona Desert Ironwood bolsters. Black canvas micarta liners and pins.
Sheath: Handmade stacked leather sheath
$195 Shipped CONUS, International buyers welcome shipping extra.
