Synthetic or natural? AFAIK there is no 10k synthetic nagura.

Synthetic nagura stones should never be used to form a sharpening slurry on a stone surface. They are cleaning and leveling stones to be used as regular maintenance tools, using one to form a slurry can compromise the edge and surface finish. Most often they are 6000 grit chalk stones with the rare 8000 grit that can be found on a few sites.

If its a natural nagura then its a whole new story.

it is a natural nagura stone and an synthetic stone the stone is 6k and the nagura is 10k

Then its all going to depend on the type of nagura, if it will do anything with that type of synthetic stone and the result you are looking for on the blade you are sharpening.

Usually they are matched to natural stones.
