With no Walking Dead on I found myself watching Naked and Afraid yesterday afternoon. Clearly I could never make it on this show. Sunburned Johnson would take me out less than 4 hours in. But if I had been blessed with any melanosomes I would probably take my ASHBM as my one suvival item. What Busse knife would you take?
 
If I'm limited To the Busses that I own?..... Probably my SOB. If I'm in an environment where a machete is king?.... I'd probably (please don't laugh) go with my AK47....
 
Saw the reviews, silly show for attention fanatics. :p But, in the opportunity I get to choose my Busse, I'd not hesitate to grab any of the Badger variants. Every one has shown to be the perfect size and weight for a good survival tool.

 
i would choose my busse ak47. it would work for both carving and for hacking down a small tree
 
AK 47 does sound like a good idea. I would want something very long to hack at some of those Fer de lance vipers.
 
Read the title of this thread and thought you were discribing my last big night out drinking...
 
INFIDU,,, thats why I got it,, (not to run around naked and afraid with) as THE ONE knife..
 
I see it as my DUTY to take care of these particular blades... ;)

And yes, dumped on an island with just one blade.... an ASH for me thanks... ;) Though I really would NEED a NMFBM to properly preserve my modesty.... ;)

What's the one on the bottom DP?

To answer the op: combat grade BOSSJACK, strioped, no choil. Edge thinned a bit. Perfect blade.

.... An ASH would probably be my choice also ....but,but:(..... I don't own one!!!!:grief::grief:
 
I'd be tempted to take the Choppy if in one of the non-machete environments, 1311 for the tropics.
