:barf: ewww ... I threw up in my mouth. :barf:

i saw the title, and did that

then i saw the pictures, and threw up in someone else's mouth

my god. the humanity. what a terrible knife :D

good handles though.

You see! Right there is a Perfect example as to why I am not going to use those scales... a little pink stops for any solid piece of wood... ;)
Tsk tsk... I thought this was a family forum [emoji12]

So, I showed my girlfriend my new 15 yesterday and asked her how much she thought it cost. First guess: $100 Second guess: $300 haha made it a lot easier to tell her the actual price. I'm thinking about getting her a knife for all around stuff like when we fish, camp, cook, etc and I just wish they made the colored scales for the tweeners. A pink 15 would look nasty.

You might be able to get a pinkish color by using pink or red leather dye and sanding it on the micarta...

That's a good idea. I'm just wary of RIT dye, I've had some things come out TOTALLY different than I expected/wanted.

It's always better to have them guess high and tell them it's low, than the other way around; got many a shocked/confused glance when I confessed the real price of my Benchmade Rift, apparently it doesn't look like a $140 knife to non-knife people. Or maybe they just didn't think people actually spent that much on a knife ever...

Then don't show her a small 21 sebenza... small in size, plain flat grey Ti slabs, not much in regards to shaping on the edge unlike the 25 comparatively speaking, or the others, startac, ti-lock and the others. But carries $100 more in price...

ALL: now get another 15 and carve her birth date on the inside of one scale and the date you two got together inside of the other.
Chicks dig that stuff, you get another Becker, and she warms up to the company a little, which will make the next purchase one from "where my knife came from" all the smoother.
