Naked handle?

Who makes good blades without handles? I've tried searching google and the forum but I can't think of the correct term to use when searching. Basically I want to buy a fixed blade without a handle so I can try my hand at making my own handle for it. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks in advance
 
it is called a blade blank. Mentioning names is not exactly kosher on this forum, but look through this list-http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=699736
