Yes I do feel naked without my 2 but a have a couple of extra knives in

my truck so Im good to go.

I keep a spare knife in my tool box which stays in the car. So if they rare chance I forget my knife I always have a spare. It is rare but it did happen once this is why I stuck it in the tool box. One day is anuff to be without a blade.

Never have that problem. 'Cause if, somehow, I forget my EDC I've still got a small folding utility knife on my car keys. Also generally keep a small SAK on my house keys. Took it off to take a group picture and now realize I need to put it back on there.

On the rare occasion I leave home without my main EDC I just keep going. I feel naked, yes, but I still have my secondary EDC (Spyderco Tasman Salt) and my Cybertool 29 SAK. So it's not like I'm going bladeless.

I'd turn around and go home to get one if I was close enough.

That being said, I've forgotten my wallet. I've forgotten my cell phone. I can't remember ever forgetting my knife. :D Shows where my priorities are ...

OK, not exactly what you thought, but I was wondering how many of us feel "naked" without at least one knife on us. I've had mornings on my way to work, where I discovered I had forgotten a knife in my rush to get out the door. Most of the time (depending on how far from home I am) I turn around and go home to get a knife before going on to work.

So, the questions are: 1.) how common is this "naked" feeling among knife nuts, and 2.) to what extent will you return for the knife?

Uh...
If I don't have at least one knife on me, I am naked. Literally. The last time I can recall not having a knife on me was in boot camp when we weren't allowed to have anything in our pockets.

i always have my VIC rambler with me because it is in a custom "sheath" that I made that holds it and my maratac AAA. But whenever I don't have my full sized (3 1/2" blade) knife with my, I do feel kinda naked; keep feeling for it throughout the day only to realize it isn't there. I do have a rescue knife in my truck, but would prefer to leave it there in case it is ever actually needed. Also, I don't currently have a job...

Well, seeing as how my 'everyday' EDC is a Buck 110 on my belt, I would be in dire straights if I left it behind.

I dont think I've ever forgot my knife since I started carrying.

But I keep my knife next to my wallet/car keys, its kinda hard to forget there.

I have at least 2 knives in my truck so I don't need to worry. ;)

Without a knife I really feel naked - I EDC a bunch of useful tools and feel naked without them, it would be just my luck to need what I had left at home. I generally wouldn't leave the house without 3 flashlights, 1 SAK, 1 LM Wave, cell phone, wallet (which contains a Tool Logic Credit Card Companion which includes a small blade) and a peanut lighter. To not have a knife on me would mean I would be without my SAK & LM and also my wallet - I would definitely be feeling a bit naked.

i keep a locking folder in the car. i've only had to carry it a couple of times :)

i've always got a Jester/Ladybug on my keys though too

about the only time i don't have a knife on me is in the pool or past security in the airport. the latter is enough for me to hate flying

My knife is always the first thing I grab as soon as I have something on with pockets on it. Even if I did somehow forget I have a backpack I always take with me when I leave the house.

I gotta turn around I'm not leaving my knives at work. I have a HUGE habit of feeling my pockets 2-3 times before I leave for work I must have my money clip, phone and knife or I'm not leaving. Also I make sure to leave my car keys, phone, money clip and knife within 6 inches of each other at all times when not on me.

I have knives stashed in my office and I have my old delica and a small fixed blade relegated to car duty so they would be available.
