This hidden-tang nakiri is hand-ground from Aldo's 52100. Normalized three times, austenitized, quenched and tempered.
It features a single bevel that has been slightly convexed behind the edge to reduce food stickage.

The edge was taken to 6000 on a water stone and stropped.
The handle consists of stabilized cocobolo, G10 bolster and spacer, with a carbon fiber pin all shaped in an octagonal grip.
Blade thickness at spine: .085 in.
Thickness behind edge: .013 in.
Blade edge length: 8.0 in.
Tip to handle: 8.4 in.
Handle: 5.7 in.
Overall: 14.1 in.
