A recent project of mine for sale, this one is of laminate or san mai construction. The jacket is saw blade (15N20) steel, and the core/edge is 80CrV2.
Handle is African Blackwood and Maple.
Blade fully heat treated for excellent edge retention. Blade is thin and sharp.
Blade is 7.5" long, 13" over all.

Mr. Williams. Thanks for the terrific video! I'm an 85 year old "knife maker". I buy blanks and turn them into working knives. Then I build an interesting home for him. I'm doing this for two years and turning out some pretty nice pieces. Your video inspires as well as finds a couple of new (for me) ways of doing certain operations. Hands are arthritic. Mind is still flying! Screw the arthritis, full steam ahead. Thanks again!! Franco
