I've been looking for one of those steel cups that fit over a nalgene bottle, but haven't had any luck. Anyone know of a good site to get those? Thanks.

What you want is an Olicamp cup. It is SS with folding wire handles. Campsaver.com used to carry them but I could not find them on their sight. Perhaps you can do a search. They are a tight fit and I have noticed that newer nalgene bottles are slightly bigger.
Found it and they are on sale.

I've gotten them from www.campmor.com , but I can't find them on that site now.

Yeah--the Olicamp cup is the one I had in mind. I've had several. They're great.

One concern I have is that the Lexan they use in Nalgene canteens may emit chemicals that aren't too great for you. (I'm more cautious about this than most, since I've got a lot of small kids, and have had great success :D in keeping my wife pregnant, nursing, or both for the last 8 years or so. (Gotta make sure the species survives, too, don't ya know!) It's good to minimize one's family's exposure to dangerous chemicals under such circumstances!)

The amount of chemical bleed from the plastic is in parts per billion and even too low to harm infants. I will try to post the report if I can find it. Warming the bottle for formula is not the problem. The tests were with boiling water. This is just media ignorance and granola chrunching hemp wearers alarmism. To stay on the side of caution until a new report is released, keep it away from pregnant women and infants.

You are contradicting yourself here. You are saying that its just propaganda from granola chrunchers, but then you say that just in case it isn't, keep it from pregnant woman and infants. Maybe if there might be some cause for alarm you shouldnt go blaming people for trying to raise some public attention to it.

I've been looking for these all over but can't find any in Australia. There's an Australian based company that produce military type gear that apparently made them at some stage, but haven't had them in stock for a long time. I might just go with the stainless cups made by Zebra, which fit a nalgene but have a fixed handle. Anyway, if any Aussies on the forum know a source for the folding handle type I'd love to hear about it.
