This is my take on a style seen in Viet Nam and still made today. Just came from some old memories that popped up and got me out of my usual box. It's forged 1084, flat grind, semi sharp clip, hand sanded 600g satin finish, "as forged" on the flats. Long, thin blade with full distal taper. Guard is stainless, pommel is nickel silver. The handle is really nice cocabola with leather spacers front and back. Balances right at guard and feels right in the hand. NOTE: The pommel is a cast piece I've had for years which had a rough surface, as most cast items have. Normally that sands away to a smooth surface, but this one didn't. It's got very small casting bubbles over the surface. Since it's threaded to the tang, no way to change after fit and epoxy. In no way a structural problem, just cosmetic. Due to that, I'm pricing at a discounted level. Comes with a custom sheath done in basket weave.
AOL: 12"
Blade: 7 1/2" to the guard
Width: 1 1/8"
Thickness: 1/8"
Price: $150.00 Includes shipping USA. PayPal (ruger315@charter.net), USPS money order, or check.

Thanks to all of you for the good comments! This is kinda out of my "box", but may have to make a little room for this style.

To be totally frank, if it were not for the cosmetic issue with the pommel, this one would have been priced a good bit higher. Next ones won't have this issue:)
