Name a brand you didn't like but do now

Fallkniven... I didnt get it, I even resisted them. But now i understand the laminated stainless and the convex edge and love them. Spyderco too. Never thought i would own one but I got one in a trade And now i highly recommend them.

The current brand I do not like is Cold steel. But I think they have a few that will probably win me over.

Did not like either ZT or Spyderco, until the 0560 came out. Had to have one, now have it and a BW finished one as well.

Same with Spyderco. Thought they were ugly, finally bought a PM2 after all the rave reviews even though I did not like it even when I bought it. I just knew I was missing something, everybody loved them. As soon as I learned to finger flick one open, I was hooked! Now it's one of my favorites. Have a satin and a black blade in that one also.

I was a detractor of Zero Tolerance knives for some time due to all the complaints I would see on the forums.

Then I took delivery on two separate occasions of a 0560 and a 0561. Both were flawless, had the same detent feel, and perform wonderfully. They are perfect.

I'm not their biggest fan but I certainly hold them in much higher regard than I once did.

I'm with you on the spyderco.
After I got my 1st one I sold sold all my benchmades. The griptillian brought me back to the benchmade recently.
Fallkniven took a while before it become one of my fav. fixed blade companies.

brands I don't care much about anymore: SOG, CRKT

All thanks to this forums....really helps making informed decisions.

I used to think Spyderco knives where ugly. Then I bought an Endura so I could at least say I gave them a chance. Now I have an Endura, Para 2, and a Tenacious and I love all 3! I've come to appreciate and really like the looks of them. Total 180 from a few years ago.
