It is too early to say. Many Vets are still paying.Chesty Puller`s boy stopped, but there are others.Wives and children pay.Who can reckon the price?

First one that comes to my mind - my wifes uncle. He is still alive - but gave his life to the service of his country serving 37 years in the USMC. He also served 3 tours in Vietnam (shot all 3 times).
To say who has paid the highest price? So many pay and still are...

I'm too young to have lost friends, and too fortunate to have lost relatives, but I think daily about the multitudes who paid for my freedom, and continue to do so. Anyone who serves is, to me, a hero who stands taller than I ever can.

Thanks to all.
