Since she sounds like a really sweet woman I think that 'Candy' would suit her rather well.

I'm definitely feeling the B names here, what about Buellah or Betty? Mabel has some class to it, too.

If she's from the chilly overseas, how about Natalia Dimitriovna Makarov?

She's quite obviously a celtic warrior of some description. Given that, I'd go with any of the famous celtic warrior women. Off the top of my head (in my order of preference)...

* Medb (or Maeve or a number of other Irish spellings) - Queen of Connacht and opposite number to the legendary hero Cuchulain.
* Granuaile (Grace O'Malley) - Irish pirate in the late 1500s and a major pain in England's backside.
* Aoife - warrior woman and enemy of Scathach (see below). Scathach was cooler but Aoife (pronounced Eefa) is a prettier name.
* Scathach - warrior woman who taught Cuchulain. She took him as a great warrior and turned him into a legendary one.
* Boudica - Celtic warrior queen who defied Rome's might.

There are others. :)
