NO

The knife in question may have been the inspiration for many of the design features found on the PBFs, but the PBFs have a decidedly more "asian" flare.:p

Now... that said, since Eric has access to the reference materials necessary (i.e. the Ad Book) he can likely figure it out.:D

Chuck, I'd be more interested in finding out if you had one of the knives and seeing a picture.;)

Have you seen the original Purebred Fighter, not the second generation with the Cord Wrapped handles but the original? It might not be the one you are after but it doesn't have nearly the asian flare the second generation had.

I don't have a picture of it either but this is what I've gathered from descriptions.

No, I don't believe I've seen that. However, this knife has a specific name and it's not a PBF...:D At least not according to the ad I have in front of me.:p

....hmmm... if I have Porkerson stumped I may be on to something here... :cool: :D
 
The Ad I have that has the Badger in it without the Talon holes only has a BB SHII and a Combat Recruit with it. I can dig around and see if it is any of my other magazines though :D:D
 
I just remembered one more I've heard about, I think it was just called the Camp Knife is this it? I believe it would fit your description.

YES!!!!!

I knew that FOS would pipe up sooner or later. He is the only one on the board that has mentioned this blade in the past other than Jerry.

Now... does anyone know how many were made or does anyone have one?
 
A friend of mine's brother ownes one, but would not part with it. You just can't reason with a Marine ..At least I got to see it.
