Name That Skull

I was walking the dog and I started into the woods without thinking...good day for that...when I came across a skull. I thought about Ankerson's bird watching thread and figured you guys could figure out what this is.

Any clue?

I would throw in a pic of the Busse I carry but you have all seen it a lot

On gut instinct I would say Raccoon also. Definitely a carnivore.

The snoot looks too short for a possum (they're possums down here ), unless it's a baby.

On gut instinct I would say Raccoon also. Definitely a carnivore.

Raccoon was my first legitimate guess as well. I have found an identical skull in my woods and my first thought was raccoon.

We are always finding those around our place...to tell you the truth, I have never been able to figure out the difference between the opossum and the raccoon skulls. There must be an obvious way, but I've never bothered to find out.

Yeah, I know what you mean. We find bones and skulls a lot and I never really cared either

Definitely a chupacabra. That thing could be worth millions, man. You should be careful though...watch out for men in black suits...
