Name That Skull

Looks like some kind of cat to me. The snout on a cat skull is longer than some might expect.

WTF is it??!!

No need to get upset Rolf! It's dead already. It can't hurt you any longer. Everything is going to be alright. Come out of the corner and put the 93 back in the safe, I can assure you that we're going to get through this ok.

Whew--- thanks Broh!
Good thing I sold my 93. I did have my Nuc EDC at the ready. :p

Definitely a chupacabra. That thing could be worth millions, man. You should be careful though...watch out for men in black suits...

Maybe a baby Chupacabra. If I am not mistaken the skull was found pretty far from Southwestern US. I didn't think they made it that far out.

If you look at that skull it kind'a looks like a bullet hole in it. Someone may have shot whatever it is with a 22 possibly. So yeah its plenty dead Rolf! :)

It looks like a juvenile skunk. The dentition is wrong for an opossom. Opossoms have very distinctive teeth, especially the premolars. The teeth of the skull you have found, behind the "K9" would not have any gaps between them on an adult skunk skull. The nose doesn't slope correctly either. It may be some other mustelid I am not familiar with.

I have done wildlife release for a number of years, and am very familiar with most animal skulls, comparing yours to the raccoon skull in front of me it is diffinetly a raccoon skull. Do i win a new Busse now? ha ha .

Here's a pic I found. It looks like the one on the left.

Going by my weak and limited research I would say its almost definately a raccoon or a juvenile skunk like 762 shooter suggested.

Raccoon it is. U all get the satisfaction of knowing u contributed to the education of a nice group of children.

:)

Thanks for the help.
