Name the poop !!!!

It's mine sorry, when you gotta go-you gotta go! :o

From the bear tracker site:
"Since the human diet varies so much, the contents and form are not predictable"
Amen to that...somedays I'm afraid to go big potty after a night of spicey foods :(
Gives a whole new meaning to the term "Pot Luck"

That page is kind of funny, who wouldn't recognize human scat? Looks like the person who dumped that load had a mild case of the runs...

I'd look for rodent bones too, if so owl. That was my first reaction, I haven't seen many other loads with that much fur in them. Otherwise it looks to my eye like some very weathered coyote crap, but if there are no yotes in the area I'm stumped.

Definately canine and since there aren't supposed to be any coyotes I'd say somebody's dog ate a bunny, or a cat. Given the time of year and the assumption ( I've never been up there so I could be wrong on this) that rabbits are mostly white in winter time ( I know when I lived where it snowed (KY) most of the rabbits were white in the winter) I would guess somebody is missing a cat.

Some people have been thinking owl but it seems too large in diameter for any owl scat I've ever seen. Also, after a second look, there seem to be two slight tracks ( about 11 oclock and 1 oclock) in the picture. That could just be my imagination though.

The size was another reason I don't think it could be owl, or else y'all have some beastly owls up there.

I actually caught an owl while night fishing (it picked up a big surface musky lure at night...i thought i hooked a musky). It had a 5+ foot wing span. Big bird it was! Took 35 minutes to get it to the boat. The lure was on fireline so I had to get it to the boat and cut the line off. Turns out the hooks had his legs bound and the line was wrapped around tyhe lure. My buddy held bird upside down and kept it's wing extended and the Owl kept his other wing out to keep above water while I cut him free.
Of all the times i should have had a camera, that was the night! I left it in my truck at the boat launch :( Was an interesting experience. The owl flew away after we released him.
