Since it's basically a wakizashi with a Res-C handle:
SYKCO Wak Dog
SYKCO Katana Mut

And on a Father's day:
SYKCO Wak Father

Blade made me think of the Last Rites tanto you did.

Scary Carry

Also since we're on the scrap yard dog theme:
SYKCO Tengu

Since the literal translation of the Japanese demon "Tengu" is "sky dog" or "heavenly dog"

While I have been asking for a Yard Stick, this one falls a little short of the obligatory 36”. Being a shorter sword, I figure this would be more suited for defensive. Also, makes me think of a Ninjato. Shorter, defensive, from the Yard…. All of these qualities have me thinking of Japanese guard/hunting dogs. My buddy has a Japanese Chin. Small, light weight, good sense of balance, often found hidden in unexpected places, etc. Ryukyu is a Japanese hunting dog. It’s known as a top hunter of vicious wild boar. They are also known to have a high prey drive, so it is recommended they don’t cohabitate with smaller animals, such as cats or rodents. It hunt hogs and eats rats. It’s almost too perfect! Tosa is a breed known to be quite vicious Kai Ken is a loyal breed that prefers to be in the outdoors. Spitz is another loyal breed. There are so many options, I could go on and on. I really like Ryukyu and Spitz.

Scrap Yard Chin
Scrap Yard Ryukyu
Scrap Yard Tosa
Scrap Yard Kai Ken
Scrap Yard Spitz

The backscratcher

Cerberus's fang/claw

This one I'm ashamed to admit I didn't think of earlier, SYKCO The Jabberwock's Bane or Vorpal Sword. Combining this beautiful sword with the sword of the classic poem by Lewis Carroll. But...if we combine, the sword, Carroll and commonly accepted Bussekin nomenclature we get, just what I think is my best submission thus far (and probably will be the best) :

The SYKCO Jabberwacki. Snicker-snack.

Maybe unlike the stereotypical naming convention, this one is female.

BBB - Big Bitch Blade (Bitchy)

BBB-721

BTCH - Big Tough Comfortable Handle

“I have some cutting to do…my Bitch will make short work of it!”

“It’s time for dinner. Stop your Bitching and come inside!”

With ‘bitch’, of course, being the female canine vice the normal pejorative.

Not sure if the PR or PC challenges would be worth it, though.

Going on little sleep here!
