It is from Bruce Bump's .45 pistol knife thread. This might be a stupid question. What is it?

Is this all just a push/reminder to get Bruce to make a real table for his 4X6 and get rid of that little wienie table??!?!?! ;) :p

That is actually a 4 x 6 metal cutting bandsaw I had especially made for me in China. I had it imported to the Jet Factory and repainted grey. The Jet stickers were applied so thieves wouldnt steal it. ;)

Nick, dangit that is a new table. I made it to the exact specs as the original so my saw would retain its value.

My bad! ;) So did China start custom making you machinery after you got the Ms, or was it when you started building cut'n'shoots??? :D :D :D

It's a metal cutting bandsaw sorta like my jet but has a small work rest for real small parts

Yep You got it right. That winkie table it had allowed small cut offs to fall right into the wheels and would stop the saw in an instant. I've even snapped blades in half from them. This table has a close fitting slot that prevents that. The table is slightly bigger and made from 1/8" steel.

I was just a mere JS when they made this one. Since then they raised their standards to MS. Sorry man you cant get one harhar har.:D

Heck who am I kidding. Nick has a huge bandsaw to go with his mega anvil and those biceps.

Eugene..........seems like a good name for a bandsaw.:D

Heck I got a 7x12 band saw and it has the same size table.... Just never got around to making a bigger one. But then I use it in the horizontal position most of the time.

Horizontal cutoff saw. Normally used to cut barstock to length. Cheap ones are around $300.
