I found this by my pool where my kids were playing. I have no idea what it is though.

That picture is the belly. Here is the top of it. It almost looks like a Gea theridioides.

Marbled Orb Weaver. They get more orange later in the season. This one has atypical markings on the abdomen

I know what you mean; at this time of year, you can almost get clotheslined hitting one of their webs when running. They are strong webs!
