Naming Help - BRKT Manuf Fiddleback

i like fiddlebark, but if we need another name then i will go with bulls eye with recluse as an honorable mention

I do like Bullseye but I'll offer another option:

The Fiddleback Pioneer.

Thinking of the types of surroundings the knife may be used in and what that conjures up in my mind. Also I'm guessing this is the first foray for you into mass (ok small mass) production and by another company. I had thought of the Fiddleback First but Pioneer seemed better.

The Fiddleback Sylvan. Congrats Andy, this is really great news, also thanks to Derrick.

My wife has suggested Kudzu Cutter

I like the Recluse / Fiddleback tie. Andy is this knife a new design? Looks like a Hunter but a little shorter. Like you said before, 4" is the perfect size! Will this offering have contoured handles or straight slabs?

The Fiddleback/Bark River Lowlander.

Congrats Andy,

I like the suggestion of "Recluse" myself. Whatever you call it, be sure to give us a heads-up on availability so we can snag one!

In this thread I didn't read all the post, I just wanted to offer a name without any influence other than my impression of the knife.

Just using my first impression and your location I came up with "Southern Mountain Bushcrafter" It's clean lines and no-nonsense form and function remind me of the southern mountain flintlock rifle, they would go very well together, in my opinion.

I like the sound of Fiddleback Pioneer - especially if this is your first large scale collaboration like this, as it's breaking new ground for you.
Bullseye and Forester are also good.

Depends on the market segment you're targeting. How about the 'Fiddleback Special Forces Parachute Commando Survival Knife'? :D

Ahem. Alternatively, I think that 'bullseye' and 'recluse' sound really good.

All the best,

- Mike

Ooo. I like this one. Or just Southern Bushcrafter.
