hi
heres my new napoleon sword pics, better put it in a new thread where it can be noticed better! i accidently chopped the sheath, so i had to wrap it in natural twine. gives a better grip on the sheath, and i also sanded the sword to give it a matt finish. there was pitting on the blade, needed smoothing anyway, and i find a matt finish easier to maintain, and keeps the oil better. bit sharper, but thrusting is fun! it does feel very lively in the hand. on gripe i have is the guard- very pretty, but seems to be only decorative. maybe one mde out of steel would be better? anyways, i now have a huge 30inch kobra (i think??), 20 inch jange by bura, and a bigger tibetan sword on the way. will take and post pics soon as i can.
