Sorry to be asking the same question again but I have looked and I have narrowed it down to about 6 SAK. I plan on pairing this with my Delica as a Secondary and kind of a beater. Keep in mind that I would like to carry it inside the pocket so I would like to keep it slim and that is where i'm encountering the problem. I have no clue whatsoever as to how big is to big or what I can get away with. Thanks for the input.

The Cadet is super slim. Much more so than the other medium to large Vics. I carry a Spartan or a Pioneer sometimes and definitely notice the extra girth in pocket.

Huntsman is easily my favorite edc SAK, so trade the saw blade for a magnifying glass, and naturally the Explorer is my top choice here. 2nd is Spartan as the slimmed down no frills version, but I think I would miss the scissors the most.

But I also keep a SAK classic on one key chain, a Leatherman style on my other keys, so scissors are always still handy.

This really isn't a decision other people can make for you. What may be perfectly acceptable for me could be way to thick for you.
Figure out what tools you want on it and take a gamble.

You should get a standard 91mm tinker or 84m small tinker.
It won't be much bulkier overall than an Alox cadet ( especially the 84mm being the same size as the cadet ), plus you'll get a few more tools that you wouldn't get otherwise. The Philips screwdriver is awesome, the awl is extremely useful, the small pen blade is great to have, and lastly you get the toothpick and tweezers which may not be something you know you need until you have it.
BTW I've heard that the key ring hole is in a less than ideal spot and actually bothers some people.

Here's a thread about what can be done with all of the different sak functions that may help you decide which functions you'd value most.

I will, I'm more than likely going to buy a couple. One of them being a cadet and the other one of the larger SAK.

I find that I prefer the overall size of the Pioneer but, for a loaner, or back up carry, the Cadet just works well. It also is easier to open and close than the Pioneer series. This is a big plus in my book. If I was forced to choose, Cadet or Pioneer, it would be tough.

When you say that you have plans for a larger SAK, do you mean something like the Trekker series or something in the 91mm group with more tools?
