NASCAR fans here?

Ho hum !

The racing [ ? ] last night reminded me of a poorly produced highschool play. NASCAR will do anything for a buck, won't they ?
Did anyone really enjoy this contrived production ?

I thought the "money" race was pretty good. Martin's pit crew nailed a four
tire stop and got him out in second place. Sadler only took two tires and
just couldn't hold the lead so that was pretty entertaining.

Now the Vickers deal was intersting but in a viscious sort of way. And then
the Nemechek/Harvick spat was straight from the playground. That the good
folks at NASCAR would allow the sport to degenerate into WWE wrestling is
pretty disappointing.

Right on the money ! Oh,well,we still have a few short tracks nearby so we can watch some beatin' & a' banging without unreal fines & penalties . Loved your 'wrasslin' comparison.

Uncle Alan, how much for you to run me up a bit o' the pure? We're awful
thirsty here. :D

I noticed that K Busch did alright and Rusty was going good to until he got
taken out (that must really stink for him). NASCAR should cut out the after
race Bravo Siera, it takes away from the sport. Now when there was the
famous "blizzard" race and (I think) Cale Yarborough and Bobby Allison got
into it that was interesting.

Alan,
I know you long for the good ol' days...don't we all...but, NASCAR advertises this race as an "All-Star Event". There are no pretenses as to any thing else...it is for the show and dough...no points on the line...just $ at stake.
So, I think folks should take it as advertised...a show for the fans and $ for the drivers.
Heck, the cars were all brought just for this event...every driver will have a different/new car for the point-paying event this upcoming weekend.
This deal has been going on for 20+ years...nothing new...
