I have a small hunter and totally agree, will buy more given the opportunity. The small Hunter is made from D2 with Nathans one-of heat-treat. It's 60Rc or better and will flex over my thumbnail and is more than likely the sharpest knife I have ever seen.
What's the smaller knife pictured third down from the top?
That's a D2 bladed Hunter.....with Nathan's very special heat treat that he optimized expressly for D2.
It's by far one of the very sharpest knives I've ever owned. The edge will flex over my thumbnail at 60+Rc and cut like nobody's business.
I need to retake the 'Family Photo' since I've been able to procure one each of Nathan's Choppers....a 'burley' model and a 'standard' model, but there's nothing ever 'standard' about his works.
I don't have it handy but I would guess a 4" blade, maybe 4 1/2" but I don't think so.....very lightweight and slim.
2.96 oz. Blade is 3.5" cutting, ricasso 0.25", total length 7.25".....Dozierw
...an EDC fixie from Nathan would round out a perfect trifecta!
funny you should say that...
