I just recently made a purchase with Nate from one of the Friday EDC sales and the transaction, communication, and speed of delivery were all way above average. I realize that I am not telling anybody who's dealt with him before anything new. I also have to give props to Jo and her communication as well.

The reason that I am posting this feedback here is because Nate and I also made a trade which coincided with the EDC shipment. I had an item up for trade and Nate contacted me and made me an offer. I asked Nate to wait until he received my item before sending his since I am new to trading and selling here. Nate went ahead and sent me the item we discussed before receiving my trade and it was everything he promised. Not only was I very pleased with the trade but also the fact that he trusted me as a new seller/trader without having received my part of the trade yet. The only way this trade could have gone smoother is if the USPS had delivered his package on the estimated delivery date, which was the same time frame as his arrived to me.
Thanks again Nate! It was a pleasure not only to purchase from you but to also trade with you.

Many times there is a trade off; but not with CPK. A great product for a very fair price from awesome people. I only wish I had a larger budget for blades. Another reason I wish I still lived in NC.

I've only one CPK experience, I was fortunate enough to buy a Potato Knife from Nate's final run. It was certainly a great value; after having used it I think it would be sold out at twice the price.
It's easily my most-used kitchen knife, that dude is a workhorse!

The purchase and shipping were as fast and professional as any I've ever had, I recommend them highly.

I was having a really hard time picking up one of Nathans knives, and this was early on before everybody discovered how truly awesome his knives are. I was never by the computer when he would put his knives out for sale - even back then, you had to be really quick. I wanted to pick up one of his 8" Shivs. Sent him an email asking if he could possibly put one together for me. He sent one back, letting me know how much - I sent payment and it showed up in the mail a week later. Beautiful knife that I will always treasure. I really appreciated him going the extra mile for me. Nathan was really great to deal with and just a really good guy - all of the communications I have seen him involved in reinforce that impression. I have watched where he has gone design wise and what he has been able to get out of the steels he works with and its been pretty darn amazing. I will definitely own more of his work.
