He works magic, I tell ya. It's even more comfortable to hold than the stock version. Big difference.

Let me ask you this..This is probably a stupid question...Can Nath just make th Ti lockbar like he did on your Jungle Commander without having the blade? Can one just order it by itself to save the shipping of the actual knife? Or does he need the knife to configure and adjust the lockbar placement?

I would think that for the sake of proper fit and function it would be better to send your steel to Nathawut.
 
I agree with the above^^^ With something as precise as a framelock he'd need it in hand.

It's not that expensive if you ship USPS

"Jungle Commander" .... has a nice ring to it, descriptive too.
 
I agree with the others. Send in the blade. No sense in paying for a framelock conversion and not having it perfect.

Exactly, he has a lockbar stop/stabilizer. It is a great minimalist design IMO. It seems to be made out of an extra thumb disk, or something similar. I was trying to capture it in this photo:

Haha, I didn't realize until just now that the "Jungle Commander" was a thing. I just read another reference to it and then did a Google image search of the term. Come to find out Emerson makes an OD/black bladed Commander. Ya'll knew that huh?

That's funny. I had just told Nath that I wanted a framelock and g10 with no liner. He said, "What color G10?" I said, "I don't know... black" He came back with, "I think OD G10 would look cool" and I said "cool, lets do it!"

I wonder if Nath knew of these Commanders of the Jungle? This was early 2013. I'll bet he probably did.

Oh well, sometimes the littlest things amuse me.
